Is it free to request offers?+-
Yes. Submitting a request and reviewing any offers you receive is free. You are not required to accept an offer. Payment is only requested after you choose an offer and proceed to checkout
How soon will I receive offers?+-
Schedule This Car sends your request to approved local repair shops that match your selected service, location, and requested timing. Response times and offer availability vary, and receiving an offer is not guaranteed. You can follow the status through your secure request link.
Is Schedule This Car a mobile mechanic or roadside assistance service?+-
No. Schedule This Car matches you with local repair shops, and service is normally completed at the selected shop. If an offer includes pickup and drop-off, those details will be shown before checkout. If your vehicle is unsafe to drive, arrange towing or roadside assistance instead.
How are participating repair shops reviewed?+-
Repair shops must submit their business details for administrative review and be approved before receiving customer opportunities. Insurance, licensing, and regulated-service credentials can also be submitted and reviewed where applicable. You should still compare the shop details, timing, and pricing shown in each offer.
When will repair shops receive my contact information?+-
Your contact information stays hidden from shops while your request is being matched and while you compare offers. It is shared with the selected shop only after you choose an offer and complete checkout, so the shop can finalize your appointment details.
What happens after I choose an offer?+-
You will review the selected shop, service timing, and complete price before continuing to secure Stripe checkout. After payment, the selected shop receives the booking and your contact details, then provides the final appointment or arrival instructions.
What services can I request?+-
The request form shows the automotive services currently available through Schedule This Car. Select the service that matches your vehicle’s needs, enter your vehicle and location details, and choose your acceptable Same-Day or Next-Day availability. Available shops and offers depend on the selected service, location, and timing.
Can a shop pick up and return my vehicle?+-
Some participating shops may offer optional pickup and drop-off. When available, the offer will show whether it is included and any related price before checkout. If pickup and drop-off are not included in the selected offer, service is completed at the shop.
