Introduction

These Online Booking & Purchase Terms govern the use of the Schedule This Car platform and all service requests, offers, bookings, purchases, payments, and related transactions conducted through Schedule This Car.

Schedule This Car is a trade name of 11960687 Canada Inc.

If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the platform.

• By submitting a service request, accepting an offer, making a payment, creating an account, or using the platform, you agree to these Online Booking & Purchase Terms.
• You also agree to the Privacy Policy, the Customer Responsibilities & Cancellation Policy, the Website Terms & Conditions, and any service-specific disclosures presented during booking.

Marketplace Role

Schedule This Car operates an online marketplace that connects customers with participating automotive service providers.

Participating service providers are independent businesses responsible for their own services and business operations.

• Schedule This Car facilitates service requests, distributes requests to participating affiliates, facilitates offer selection, processes payments, assists with appointment coordination, and provides customer support.
• Unless expressly stated otherwise, Schedule This Car does not perform vehicle inspections, perform vehicle repairs, issue Safety Standards Certificates, employ participating service providers, or control the operational decisions of participating service providers.

Service Request Process

Customers may submit a service request through the platform. A service request may include vehicle information, requested service type, location information, preferred timing, and other information necessary to obtain offers.

Submission of a request does not create a booking and does not guarantee that offers will be received.

Offer Stage

Eligible participating service providers may receive service request information and may choose to submit offers through the platform.

Offers may include service pricing, estimated appointment availability, service provider information, and additional service details. Offers may expire without notice.

• Schedule This Car does not guarantee the number of offers received.
• Schedule This Car does not guarantee the quality of offers, availability of any service provider, or acceptance of any service request.

Acceptance of an Offer

A booking opportunity is created when a customer selects an offer. Prior to payment, customer contact information remains hidden from service providers and service provider contact information remains hidden from customers.

The selected offer remains subject to successful payment. After payment, the booking is secured while the selected service provider sets the customer arrival time.

Payment and Merchant of Record

Schedule This Car acts as Merchant of Record for transactions processed through the platform.

By completing payment, the customer authorizes Schedule This Car to process payment. Applicable taxes may be collected, the booking is secured, the booking request is transmitted to the selected service provider, and arrival-time workflows are initiated.

Payment secures the booking. The arrival time remains pending until a service provider submits a valid time inside the customer selected availability window. All prices are stated in Canadian dollars unless otherwise indicated.

Arrival Time Confirmation Requirement

Following successful payment, the selected service provider must submit the customer arrival time through the Schedule This Car platform.

Participating service providers are reminded after fifteen (15) minutes if no arrival time has been submitted.

If no arrival time has been submitted after thirty (30) minutes, Schedule This Car may ask the customer whether the platform should contact backup shops within the same selected radius. If the customer authorizes backup outreach, the first eligible shop to submit a valid arrival time may automatically take over the booking at the same fixed price.

Failure to Set Arrival Time

If no participating service provider submits a valid arrival time before the end of the customer selected availability window, Schedule This Car may cancel the booking and issue a full refund.

Where the original selected service provider never submitted an arrival time and no backup shop completed the booking, Schedule This Car may recover payment-processing costs from the original service provider balance.

Safety Standards Certificate Inspection Services

Where a customer books a Safety Standards Inspection through the platform, the customer acknowledges that payment does not guarantee that a vehicle will pass inspection or that a Safety Standards Certificate will be issued.

Inspection outcomes are determined solely by applicable laws and inspection requirements. Repairs may be required before a Safety Standards Certificate can be issued.

Repair work, repair pricing, parts, labour, warranties, and repair decisions are separate transactions between the customer and the service provider. Schedule This Car does not participate in repair negotiations, repair recommendations, repair pricing, or repair decisions.

Customers may be required to acknowledge additional Safety Standards Certificate disclosures before payment.

Customer Responsibilities

Customers are responsible for ensuring the vehicle presented matches the vehicle identified during booking.

• Provide accurate information, vehicle information, and contact information.
• Attend confirmed appointments and present the booked vehicle for service.
• Comply with applicable laws and safety requirements.
• Communicate respectfully with service providers and support personnel.

Customer Cancellations

If a customer cancels after payment but before a service provider submits a valid arrival time, the customer is eligible for a 50% refund.

If a customer cancels after a service provider submits a valid arrival time, the cancellation is not refundable.

No-Shows

Customers who fail to attend a confirmed appointment may be designated as a No-Show.

No-Shows may result in forfeiture of all or part of the booking fee, reduced refund eligibility, account restrictions, or additional administrative fees.

Platform Records and Evidence

Schedule This Car maintains electronic records of platform activity.

For dispute resolution, cancellations, refunds, chargeback defence, fraud investigations, and policy enforcement, Schedule This Car may rely upon booking records, transaction records, timestamps, platform communications, system logs, appointment confirmations, cancellation requests, customer support interactions, and electronic acknowledgements.

Platform records maintained by Schedule This Car shall be considered the authoritative record of booking activity.

Refunds

Refund eligibility is governed by these Terms, the Customer Responsibilities & Cancellation Policy, service-specific disclosures, and applicable law.

Refunds, where approved, will generally be issued to the original payment method. Processing times may vary depending on payment processors and financial institutions.

Independent Service Providers

Participating service providers are independent businesses. Customers acknowledge that services are provided by independent businesses and not by Schedule This Car.

• Schedule This Car is not responsible for inspection outcomes, repair recommendations, repair pricing, repair quality, service provider warranties, workmanship, vehicle damage caused by service providers, or disputes arising from services performed by service providers.

Fraud Prevention

Schedule This Car may investigate suspected fraud, abuse, policy violations, unauthorized activity, payment disputes, or chargebacks.

Where reasonably necessary, Schedule This Car may suspend accounts, delay payouts, delay refunds, restrict access to services, or cooperate with law enforcement authorities.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Schedule This Car total liability arising from any transaction shall not exceed the amount paid by the customer for the booking giving rise to the claim.

Schedule This Car shall not be liable for indirect, consequential, incidental, special, or punitive damages, including lost profits, lost opportunities, business interruption, vehicle defects, or repair costs.

Electronic Records and Consent

Customers agree that electronic acknowledgements, electronic signatures, electronic communications, electronic confirmations, electronic records, and electronic consents maintained by Schedule This Car shall have the same legal effect as original paper records and handwritten signatures to the maximum extent permitted by law.

Changes to These Terms

Schedule This Car may modify these Terms at any time. Updated versions will be posted on the platform.

Continued use of the platform following publication of revised Terms constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the applicable laws of Canada.

Any dispute arising under these Terms shall be brought exclusively before the courts of Ontario.

Our Privacy Principles

Information We Collect

Conditional Disclosure of Personal Information

Schedule This Car does not disclose a customer name, phone number, email address, or other contact information to participating affiliates during the offer stage.

Customer information is disclosed only after the customer selects an offer, payment is successfully processed, and a booking transaction has been created within the Schedule This Car platform.

Following disclosure, the selected affiliate may use the customer information solely for scheduling, confirming, and delivering the requested service.

Customer Privacy Protection

Customer privacy is a core feature of the Schedule This Car platform. Prior to payment, customer contact information remains hidden from participating shops.

Shops may view limited booking information necessary to evaluate service availability but will not receive customer contact details.

After payment and booking creation, customer information may be released to the selected shop solely for appointment confirmation, booked services, booking issue resolution, and legal or regulatory requirements.

Customer information may not be used by shops for unrelated marketing purposes unless separate consent is obtained.

Shop Privacy Protection

Shop privacy is also protected. Prior to payment, customers may browse participating shops, ratings, certifications, and service information, but direct contact information remains hidden.

After payment and booking creation, shop contact information may be released to facilitate appointment confirmation, vehicle servicing, and customer communication regarding booked services.

Independent Service Providers

Participating affiliates, inspection facilities, repair facilities, dealerships, and other service providers available through the Schedule This Car platform are independent businesses.

These businesses are not employees, agents, representatives, partners, joint venturers, or legal affiliates of Schedule This Car.

Schedule This Car does not supervise, direct, control, or manage day-to-day operations of participating service providers and is not responsible for performance of services, repair recommendations, repair pricing, repair quality, inspection outcomes, warranties, or business practices.

Customers acknowledge that any agreement relating to repairs, additional services, parts, labour, warranties, or other work performed by a service provider is entered into directly between the customer and that service provider.

Booking Communications

By creating an account or booking services, you consent to receiving essential service communications relating to appointment confirmations, booking updates, rescheduling notices, refund notifications, payment notifications, customer support interactions, platform security alerts, and policy updates.

These communications may be delivered through email, SMS, push notifications, telephone calls, or in-platform messaging.

Platform Records and Confirmation Evidence

Schedule This Car maintains electronic records relating to bookings and platform activity.

For dispute resolution, Schedule This Car may rely on booking records, payment records, system timestamps, platform notifications, in-platform communications, uploaded documents, appointment confirmations, cancellation records, and customer support interactions.

Only records maintained within Schedule This Car systems may be considered authoritative evidence in the event of a dispute. Communications conducted outside the platform may not be considered valid evidence.

How We Use Personal Information

• Provide services, process bookings, and confirm appointments.
• Facilitate payments, process refunds, and verify affiliate qualifications.
• Manage CPO certifications, prevent fraud, and resolve disputes.
• Improve user experience and platform functionality.
• Comply with legal obligations and enforce agreements.

Fraud Prevention and Platform Integrity

Schedule This Car may use personal information, booking information, device information, transaction information, location information, and platform activity to detect, investigate, prevent, and respond to fraud, chargebacks, payment disputes, unauthorized account activity, misuse of the platform, policy violations, and unlawful activity.

Where reasonably necessary, Schedule This Car may suspend accounts, restrict platform access, delay payouts, delay refunds, or cooperate with law enforcement or regulatory authorities.

Payment Processing

Schedule This Car does not store complete credit card information on its servers.

Payments are processed through approved third-party payment processors. These providers maintain their own privacy and security standards.

By submitting payment information, you acknowledge that payment processing may be governed by the terms and privacy policies of those providers.

Location Information

We may collect approximate location information to display nearby shops, improve search results, detect fraudulent activity, improve service availability, and provide localized services.

Location services may be disabled through your device settings.

Cookies and Tracking Technologies

We use cookies, pixels, analytics tools, session identifiers, and similar technologies to maintain platform functionality, authenticate users, improve performance, analyze usage patterns, detect fraud, and improve customer experience.

Users may control cookies through browser settings. Disabling cookies may affect functionality.

Automated Systems, Platform Operations and Artificial Intelligence

Schedule This Car may use automated systems and technology-assisted decision tools to support platform operations, including offer distribution, search rankings, service provider recommendations, fraud detection, quality assurance, customer support workflows, booking management, and platform analytics.

These systems assist human decision-making and platform administration. No automated system alone determines legal rights, inspection outcomes, vehicle safety compliance, or regulatory decisions.

Disclosure of Information

We do not sell personal information.

• To affiliate shops to fulfill booked services.
• To service providers, including payment processors, hosting providers, communication providers, and customer support providers.
• To regulatory authorities where required by law.
• During corporate transactions, including mergers, acquisitions, financing transactions, and asset sales.
• With your consent when you expressly authorize disclosure.

Platform Communications and Records

Communications conducted through Schedule This Car may be recorded, stored, and relied upon for booking confirmation, cancellation requests, refund determinations, dispute resolution, fraud prevention, chargeback defence, and regulatory compliance.

Schedule This Car electronic records may be treated as the authoritative record of booking activity occurring through the platform.

Electronic Records and Consent

Users acknowledge and agree that electronic communications, electronic acknowledgements, electronic consents, electronic signatures, booking confirmations, cancellation requests, refund requests, and platform records may be stored electronically by Schedule This Car.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, such records shall have the same legal effect as original paper documents and handwritten signatures.

Service Provider Information Sharing

Schedule This Car may disclose limited vehicle and service request information to eligible affiliates for the purpose of generating service offers.

Such information may include vehicle year, make, and model; requested service type; geographic area; preferred appointment timing; and other information reasonably required to prepare an offer.

Personal contact information is withheld until payment is completed and a booking transaction is created.

Merchant of Record Language

Schedule This Car processes payments on behalf of participating affiliates and may collect payment, transaction, and billing information necessary to administer bookings, refunds, and payouts.

International Data Transfers

Information may be processed or stored in Canada, the United States, or other jurisdictions where our service providers operate.

Those jurisdictions may have privacy laws that differ from those in your province or country. By using the platform, you consent to such transfers where legally permitted.

Data Retention

Schedule This Car retains personal information only as long as reasonably necessary to provide services, administer bookings, maintain business records, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, prevent fraud, defend legal claims, and enforce agreements.

Schedule This Car may retain information for longer periods where reasonably necessary in connection with chargebacks, payment disputes, insurance matters, litigation, anticipated legal claims, regulatory investigations, or law enforcement requests.

Information that is no longer required may be anonymized, aggregated, archived, or securely destroyed in accordance with our retention practices.

Security Measures

We employ reasonable safeguards including HTTPS encryption, access controls, authentication procedures, data encryption where appropriate, security monitoring, and vendor security reviews.

No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. Users should take reasonable steps to protect their own accounts and devices.

Children's Privacy

Schedule This Car services are not intended for individuals under thirteen (13) years of age.

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that such information has been collected, we will take reasonable steps to delete it.

Access and Correction Rights

Subject to applicable law, users may request access to personal information, correction of inaccurate information, deletion of certain information, and information regarding our privacy practices.

Requests may require identity verification.

Withdrawal of Consent

Where legally permitted, you may withdraw consent to certain information processing activities. Withdrawal of consent may affect our ability to provide services.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

Business Transfers
