Which tire service do you need?
On-rim seasonal tire swap
Choose this when your incoming tires are already mounted on a separate set of rims. The affiliate removes the wheels currently on the vehicle and installs the prepared seasonal wheel-and-tire assemblies. Confirm the offer’s inclusions, including pressure adjustment, TPMS handling and re-torque guidance. Note: Balancing your tires may be subject to additional charges.
Off-rim tire change, mounting and balancing
Choose this when the incoming tires are loose and must be mounted onto rims. This normally requires specialized mounting and balancing equipment and may cost more than an on-rim swap. Note: Wheel size, tire type, run-flat construction and vehicle requirements may affect eligibility, price and time.
When should you change seasonal tires?
Use sustained temperatures—not the first snowfall alone—as your planning signal. Michelin Canada recommends installing winter tires when daily temperatures consistently fall below 7°C and doing so before the first sustained cold snap. Ontario does not generally require winter tires for ordinary passenger vehicles. The Government of Ontario says winter tires improve traction and control and can shorten braking distances by as much as 25%. Read Ontario’s winter-driving guidance. Avoid installing winter tires while temperatures remain consistently warm because their softer compound can wear more quickly on warm pavement.

Should I wait for snow before installing winter tires?
No. Michelin Canada recommends using sustained temperature as the signal: install winter tires when daily temperatures consistently fall below 7°C, ideally before the first sustained cold snap. Can I request mobile tire service?
Only if the request form and eligible affiliated shops support it. A mobile offer may include property, workspace, weather and vehicle restrictions. Review the offer and ensure the service location is safe and accessible.
Does Schedule This Car inspect my tires?
No. Participating service providers perform the work and assess serviceability. A technician may decline or modify service if a tire, wheel, vehicle or location is unsafe or incompatible.
